# Mapedit Guidelines

Mapedit is an extremely powerful and versatile tool, offering ultimate customizability for mapmakers. Consequently, this makes it a dangerous tool that must be used responsibly, or else face revoked access. Outlined in this article are some main guidelines to follow by as you build projects, maps, and more.

## Do Not Try to Break Mapedit

Mapedit is not perfect, and there may be a hiccup or two. However, that is not an excuse to intentionally disrupt and break it. Instead, report these bugs to the developers, so that they may fix it!

## Build With Quality

Any maps you submit should be the same quality or higher as is with already published maps on the server.

This means:

- No spamming blocks.
- No vulgar or NSFW imagery.
- No hate speech.
- No spamming submissions.

And so on. Penguin Games wants you to take pride in your work - build like you are the next Michaelangelo.

## Follow the Server Guidelines

Regardless of Mapedit being a more private instance, it is expected that anyone in it should follow the server guidelines.
