Below you can find all the newest maps, who made them as well as some short descriptions

Map #1

Name: Shimmer

Author: electricalpower

Description: This map uses shimmer in small bubbles to try to drop people into the lava. There is also a small safety area at the bottom to be a little more friendly to players, and add more strategy.

Map #2

Name: Shimmerdrop

Author: electricalpower

Description: Similar to the lavadrop map, this map drops shimmer from above. To prevent immediate death, there is a small region in the center of the map you can save yourself in.

Map #3

Name: Shimmerbubble

Author: electricalpower

Description: This map utilizes shimmer at the bottom, which can result in different ways shimmer can be used during the game.

Map #4

Name: Verticalice

Author: electricalpower

Description: This is similar to the other ice map that is already in spleef, but the ice is vertical instead of horizontal. This means that when collecting blocks, instead of mining horizontally, you mine vertically. This can can provide different opportunities to jump on people and kill them as well as other strategies.

Map #5

Name: Thinice

Author: lip hair

Description: This map is full of thin ice, and has a few safety platforms scattered in the map. This creates new strategies on how to navigate the map, how to kill people, as well as how to use safety platforms.

Map #6

Name: Titanium

Author: electricalpower

Description: This utilizes changes in the wiring system. Now, we have more blocks you can place on the edge, however the actuators can trigger much more than they could before.

Map #7

Name: Bouncersdrop

Author: electricalpower

Description: This map utilizes bouncy boulders in a new way. You can drop them onto players. This allows for unique strategies in how to use the boulders, and how to avoid them.

Map #8

Name: Instantboulder

Author: electricalpower

Description: Players in this map immediately have boulders to use against others. The platforms are there to prevent people from placing boulders and killing everyone immediately. This makes it easier to have gameplay with boulders, instead of receiving them mid game.

Map #9

Name: Instantbouncers

Author: electricalpower

Description: In this map, you start with 5 bouncy boulders. Position plays a vital role to survive in this map alongside how to conserve your boulders appropriately.

Map #10

Name: Instantcacti

Author: electricalpower

Description: Similar to instantboulders, This map gives rolling cacti at the beginning of the game. The rolling cacti creates varied strategies, as it doesn’t 1 hit kill you. The spikes that spread from them can also be used. You only have 20 rolling cacti in this map, use them wisely!

Map #11

Name: Boulderdrop

Author: electricalpower

Description: In this map, players have switches that activate the boulders above. This utilizes different strategies for spleefing including third partying, different block placements, and different ways to position yourself in the map.

Map #12

Name: Vertical

Author: electricalpower

Description: This map uses a different block structure, to create different strategies in the game.

Map #13

Name: Horizontal

Author: electricalpower

Description: The block structure of this map is horizontal. Because of this, the map has different layers to traverse and spleef your opponents through.

Map #14

Name: Mounds

Author: electricalpower

Description: This structure of blocks uses two main pillars of blocks. This can isolate large spleef battles at the beginning of the game on both sides, but can also be avoided by trying to gather blocks at the top.

Map #15

Name: Islandstart

Author: electricalpower

Description: In this map, You can use each layer of blocks to your advantage. Most blocks are at the bottom, and that is where most players will gather their blocks. This also can be quite dangerous, as you are at risk for being put in the lava. The middle layer of blocks can be somewhat safe, but when the bottom layer is gone it may not be nearly as safe, and isn’t as mobile.
