A new Challenge is here to start out the new year! We hope you enjoyed December’s challenge, but now we’re moving onto the January 2024 PvE Challenge! Lets actually follow our new years resolution of doing all the 2024 challenges with a fresh one!
Remember, just like previous months, inventories reset as a new challenge begins. This is simply done to prevent people from easily clearing the challenge within minutes of resuming a previous playthrough.
Main Challenge - All Boots
Obtain all boots except hermes

Reward: 900 Penguin Points
Send your submission to Mailguin on our Discord to claim your points
This means you will have to get multiple pairs of some boots for recipes. You need to fill out all 3 categories on the wiki.
Bonus Challenge - Stopwatch
Have a display on the stopwatch of the highest mph to win. Submit your speed to Mailguin on our Discord. You can submit as many times as you want throughout the month. There will be a leaderboard pinned in the PvE thread under #server-chat on the Discord.
Submissions must include
-Stopwatch speed
-Player character
-PvE World
-Account name
Use of the inner tube is not allowed in this event. Strategies that require multiple people are discouraged, but not disallowed. In addition, there will be a region at spawn that gives you a stopwatch.
If you don’t know whether you have high enough numbers, don’t be scared to submit! You might just get one of the places on the leaderboard.

First place: 2 Weeks of Gold Gifter + 700 Penguin Points
Second place: 2 Weeks of Silver Sponsor + 500 Penguin Points
Third place: 2 Weeks of Copper Comrade + 400 Penguin Points
Fourth place: 300 Penguin Points
Fifth place: 100 Penguin Points

Last month, we tried to include a feedback form for PvE. We didn’t get many responses, and that may have been due to the format. Feel free to let us know about anything that you might be concerned about. Let us know what you like about bonus challenges, what you dislike, what you want changed, anything! Just keep the discussion in the thread PvE focused so that I can get some pointers for future challenges, to make sure that you guys like them.
