CTG | Start of Summer Update

CTG Class Select

As the summer solstice rolls around, so does a new CTG update! Basically, this patch focuses on adjusting the power level of both underused classes and lower level classes for them to have a greater impact on the game and feel less clunky.

Class Adjustment Highlights!

Mutant

This pesky class’ endurance has been substantially reduced, and its alternate form has received several changes! It now wields a The Rotted Fork instead of a Ghastly Glaive, and wears Crimson Armor into battle. Although it is more frail than before, it can regenerate faster! Be cautious when approaching this agile monster.

Black Mage

After being a demon for its lifetime, the mage has finally decided to repent and change its ways… mostly. Its weapon is now an SItem, being changed from a Demon Scythe to a short-range shadow tendril, as well as receiving an ability rework in the form of a tiered system. Although it may seem less scary, be careful; the mage still packs quite a punch.

    • Now receives Rapid Healing + Regeneration + 3 Defense on-hit for 5 seconds.

      – Addendum –
As The Rotted Fork’s base damage is low and cannot be increased a lot, it inflicts several debuffs for half a second that increase the total damage to 29, which has been lowered from Ghastly Glaive’s 34. This does not ignore defense, as the weapon’s base damage is still taken into account, and the debuff damage is consistent. Flask of Fire, Sharpened, and Shark Tooth Necklace been added to account for Beast’s Slimer and Tiki’s Shrines.

  • Psychic’s ability range is now properly displayed.
  • Also, Clown’s swap no longer has delayed audio at the end.

A peculiar contestant called the Jungle Man was scheduled to return, but they showed up late and were rejected from the roster. Don’t worry though! They still plan on showing up to the games eventually, so keep an eye out for them during testing hosts. You may even find them in a a future CTG update, stay tuned!
