If you are on the official Terraria Discord server, you may seen the words “Speedrun: Parkour” appear on August’s event calendar. Well, surprise: We are collaborating with them to provide a thrilling Parkour Speedrunning Contest! May the best speedster win.
This contest starts on 23 August and runs until 31 August, so you have a week to perfect your times!
To the Penguin Games players: We know you guys have the advantage. For that, we have two separate brackets in this Parkour Speedrunning Contest to ensure everyone has a chance at getting a place no matter the skill level.
This speedrun contest is split into two brackets:
- Beginner: For those new to Parkour. You will be running empyrean.
- Experienced: For those not new to Parkour. You will be running sans.
However, do note: You can only participate in one bracket! You are free to switch brackets for any reason, but the event team(s) will only prioritise your latest attempt for the relevant bracket. Finally, leaderboards for this speedrun contest will not be public until the event is over, to avoid confusion.
