Parkour Update - Summer Lobby

Hello everyone! We have released another Parkour update on the server! But this one is a bit of a special one as we’ve hit yet another map milestone.

However, while hitting that milestone is the main focus of this Parkour update, we’ve also got a handful of par additions, adjustments & map re-tiering! But now lets hop right into the update details!

Over 400 Maps Released!

After nearly a decade of Parkour maps being built for Penguin Games, we’ve reached the point of over 400 maps! Every 100 is a huge milestone for us as this gamemode is purely rooted in community support & creations so a huge thanks to all of our mapmakers, regardless of how many maps you have added!

New Maps!

Here are some of the maps we wanted to feature in the latest Parkour update!

Nebula by zane

A high speed dash map, everyone’s favourite! But this map will find you using shimmer to phase through walls at high speed. But be prepared once you reach the other side!

Space by Eschatology

Ever wanted to reach beyond the sky? Well this map is just for you! Traverse your way through the dark & eerie depths of space, but don’t panic! Or do, as you may need to later on.

z3 by Marionet & In the clouds

Sling your way through this high speed input dense course to reach for the end! This is the hardest map in a new series of maps, the zone maps!

Additions

The following maps have been added to Parkour!

  • Grotto by Anotherone [Late Beginner]
  • Nebularium by B N U Y & Magnapinna [Mid Advanced]
  • Corrupt by Dabaraba [Late Advanced]
  • z1 by Marionet & In the clouds [Late Advanced]
  • Contagion by Ornge v23 & Tig [Early Expert]
  • Nebula by zane [Early Expert]
  • z2 by Marionet & In the clouds [Mid Expert]
  • Hemopiranha by Ornge v23 & In the clouds [Ultra Expert]
  • Space by Eschatology [Grandmaster]
  • z3 by Marionet & In the clouds [Grandmaster]

Also, Grav has returned as a Mid Beginner map! This map was removed back after our 1.4 server port but we have brought it back from the depths.

Furthermore, the following maps have received difficulty adjustments!

  • Cartcavern from Late Advanced to Early Expert
  • Crystal from Late Expert to Ultra Expert
  • Waterrun from Grandmaster to Ultra Expert

Finally, Sunlight & Portal have both been re-tiered within Grandmaster!

  • Sunlight now awards 1750 Penguin Points, previously 2000.
  • Portal now awards 2000 Penguin Points, formerly 1750.

Also, the following maps have received par times!

  • Sunkencity: 0:40 0:48 1:05 1:25
  • Toxic: 0:49 0:58 1:15 1:40
  • Topaz: 0:24 0:30 0:42 1:00
  • Anomaly: 0:59 1:10 1:40 2:15
  • Oasis: 0:41 0:50 1:10 1:30
  • Gravitate: 1:00 1:18 1:40 2:10
  • Scrambler: 0:56 1:05 1:30 2:15
  • Mosaic 1:10 2:00 3:15 4:45
  • Crystal 2:10 2:50 4:00 5:30

Finally, the following maps have received par time adjustments!

  • Molten: Platinum par time buffed from 0:41 to 0:40.
  • Scorchedrubble: Platinum, gold & silver par times buffed by 30s, copper par time buffed by 15s.
    • Old: 1:45 2:00 2:45 3:30
    • New: 1:15 1:30 2:15 3:15
