As the Halloween season settles throughout this month, get ready for an exciting set of challenges in an enhanced PvE world!
Remember, just like previous months, inventories reset as a new challenge begins. Basically, this is done to prevent people from easily clearing the challenge within minutes of resuming a previous playthrough.

October 2026 PvE PvP Event
This month, we are hosting another PvP Challenge! Basically, these challenges are hosted every 3 months, and for October we have a special gimmick featured: the PvP will be Team-based! Essentially, pairs of 3-player teams will face each other in the arena pictured above, in a bracket tournament fashion. Moreover, you’ll have no problem finding in a team, as we created a thread just for that, in the #pve-games channel on our Discord! Once you have your 2 teammates, one of you can register here on Challonge. As a last touch, the members of the winning team will combat until death to determine the final prizes.
Every post-Plantera item (including Duke Fishron drops) is banned for the event. Furthermode, any kind of teleport or invisibility potion will not be allowed. Also, the Scrying Orb, Coin Gun and boss summoning items will all be banned for the PvP. Finally, any items that inflict the Acid Venom or Cursed Flames debuffs are not allowed, in addition to summon/hitscan/resolution based weapons, such as sentry-like weapons or weapons that spawn/guide projectiles near the cursor. Better get gearing up!
All warps will be blocked off for the event. Also, if you feel like any item in this challenge should be banned for being too overpowered or for any reason, don’t hesitate to reach out to Mailguin to suggest a ban for this event. Finally, the event will be hosted at the end of the month, and a time poll for when the event will be hosted will be posted on our discord roughly 2 weeks ahead of the event.
Prizes:
- First place: 2 Weeks of Gold Gifter + 500 Penguin Points
- Second place: 2 Weeks of Silver Sponsor + 300 Penguin Points
- Third place: 2 Weeks of Copper Comrade + 200 Penguin Points
- 2nd finalist team: 150 Penguin Points to every member
If you have any other questions, feel free to DM Mailguin on our Discord. But remember, to claim your rewards you also need to contact us through there. However, for other PvE goers: Don’t be afraid to try these challenges! They can be fun, adventurous, and quite rewarding too!
Good luck to everyone who plans on participating in the October 2026 PvE Challenge! As well as a thank you to everyone who does! We hope you enjoy it.
