Mapedit is an extremely powerful and versatile tool, offering ultimate customizability for mapmakers. Consequently, this makes it a dangerous tool that must be used responsibly, or else face revoked access. Outlined in this article are some main guidelines to follow by as you build projects, maps, and more.
Do Not Try to Break Mapedit #
Mapedit is not perfect, and there may be a hiccup or two. However, that is not an excuse to intentionally disrupt and break it. Instead, report these bugs to the developers, so that they may fix it!
Build With Quality #
Any maps you submit should be the same quality or higher as is with already published maps on the server.
This means:
- No spamming blocks.
- No vulgar or NSFW imagery.
- No hate speech.
- No spamming submissions.
And so on. Penguin Games wants you to take pride in your work – build like you are the next Michaelangelo.
